I HAD BEEN TOLD EARLIER THIS WEEK THERE WAS A PLACE IN RALEIGH WHERE THE PUBLIC COULD BUY SURPLUS. I WAS AT THE NCDMV & COMMENTED ABOUT THE ALL WOOD CHAIRS IN THE WAITING ROOM. A LADY THERE SAID THERE WAS A PLACE IN RALEIGH WHERE THEY COULD BE PURCHASED FOR $15 OR SO, BUT SHE HAD TO LEAVE & I DIDN'T GET TO TALK TO HER ANYMORE. TONIGHT I SEE SOMEONE IS SELLING (WHAT APPEARS TO BE THESE CHAIRS) FOR $50. I GUESS HE WON THE BID ON A LOT. I'M ONLY INTERESTED FOR MY OWN PERSONAL USE. THANKS FOR THE INFO. GOOD TO KNOW. In the past I've purchased a number of CRT monitors, a filing cabinet (which I'm still using), an aerobics step, computer cables, a desk, and probably more. A friend I went with purchased about 2000' of CAT 6 cable for under $10. Also NC State University hosts a surplus sale every Friday starting at 8am.
