I’m almost back, but not quite.

I’m forcing myself to blog right now. I don’t know what happened, but about three weeks ago I lost interest in blogging. I’ve heard that this happens, but after nearly two years of blogging 5+ days a week, I had yet to experience it.
It’s not that I ran out of things to blog about. There was the Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup. The Social Media Business Forum. Raleigh Wide Open. Halloween and a helpful post I meant to write about the best area thrift stores to find a costume. My new job. So much stuff. But there was just something about logging into WordPress that I was dreading (and I HEART WordPress).
But don’t worry. I’m going to be back soon. In the meantime, check out my blogroll for a list of other cool local blogs!
We all deserve a break from time to time, no need to feel bad.
You’re just living life beyond the computer. Your welcome.
I know exactly what you mean. It’s REALLY hard to keep going when you’ve done it for two to three years non stop. I felt like I ran out of things to talk about. I don’t wanna do “how to’s” or “My advice” because who cares, really?
So enjoy the break. I should call you to try and hang out!
Never apologize for not blogging. Just come back to it when you’re ready. Unless your blog is a big corporate site with someone else paying you to fill it every day, most readers won’t notice the break you’re taking. (Sad but true.)
A vacation is a good thing to blog about
Its not just blogging. There are a lot of things that you will suddenly find you don’t have as much interest in, then almost just as suddenly it will come back. I went to expand my twitter presence and found I’m not that interested in twitter any more.
Its okay. It will be okay.
This happens to me once a quarter or so. I call it a “blogging funk” and I usually get over it in a couple of weeks.
Come back soon!
